It came in this nice blue and white box

LAS VEGAS

IMG_1353

They send you a pamphlet with facts about vegas and also a list of all the items in the box

Unveiled

IMG_1355

The first item I pulled out was this Las Vegas shot glass. The pamphlet has a price of $3.95. I’m not a shots kinda girl so I will be passing this off to someone else.

IMG_1357

Moon Nevada Travel Guide $20 I hate getting the travel guides in these boxes but thankfully we can now have an option of getting the mini box with all the same items as the regular box with no travel guide and a smaller price! You can try to find it on eBay.

IMG_1360

3 Girls Holistic Calming Mist Body Spray $12  This is a body mist with all natural ingredients with a holistic method approach, instead of using drugs. I was actually really excited to get this product because I recently heard my sister talking about it and saying how much she wanted it. She was a Junior in high school now becoming a senior and had a stressful year. I guess this will still come in handy when she is sending in her college apps and hearing back from colleges.

 IMG_1358

Iadora Charcoal Salt Body Scrub $15 This is a Detox scrub made with all natural ingredients. You use this stuff in the shower and it has a very strong beautiful smell of lavender and the texture is amazing. Its a salt scrub but it has a more silky touch to it. It reminds me of caviar in a sense.

IMG_1359

Las Vegas Nail Filer $1.25 This was just a “bonus” to the box.

IMG_1361

Authentic Clipped Casino Playing Cards $2.99 Mine was used at Planet Hollywood Resort & Casino. I can’t decide if this is weird or pretty cool. I’m gonna go with weird because why do i want used cards?

 IMG_1362

Tahoe Toffee $15 I love that the toffee is shaped like Nevada and I love toffee but I’m pretty sure its not worth $15.

IMG_1356

Vegas Wine Stopper $6.50

IMG_1363

I’m pretty disappointed with this box I think I will be canceling my subscription or getting the mini box. This box was a huge miss for me! The next box will be India.  What did you think of this box? Will you be signing up for the next box?

Love With Food – June 2014 – Review

Love With Food is a subscription box that sends you snacks of all natural, organic, GMO Free and Gluten free food. When you buy the Tasting box you receive a minimum of 8 snacks, and with the Deluxe box you get 16-20 snacks. With every box that you receive you are donating a meal to a hungry child in the U.S.

Love With Food Subscription Boxes have two types of boxes, the Tasting box which is $12 a month or if you buy a yearly subscription it is $10 a month. Or the Deluxe box which is $19.99 a month or $17 for a yearly subscription.

This months Love With Food boxes theme was ‘Take Me Out To The Ball Game’! It arrived in this red and white box.

IMG_1327

Unveiled!

IMG_1328

They provide an information card for you to let you know what items they have included in their box this month and a short little tidbit about each item.

IMG_1330

*WARNING: I had my brother and my boyfriend help me review this months Love with Food box, they aren’t big on the health food, so their opinions are much harsher than mine are.*

The first item was Pineapple, Raspberry, and Mango Fruit Snacks by YumEarth Organics $1. They are made with real fruit extracts, made with no gluten, dairy, nuts, or soy. Because I am allergic to mangos, I can not try these. I let my boyfriend have them and he devoured the bag in less than a  minute, asking for more. He said they tasted like really fruit and said that the mango ones were the best. Go figure. That made me so jealous.

IMG_1333

Gum Balls By Tree Hugger Gum $.25 These gum balls are all natural, vegan, and are non-GMO. This gum has an average of four stars on love with food, they say that the flavor goes very quickly and the gum stays very soft and doesn’t get hard.

IMG_1336

Cheddar Baked Fries by Snikiddy $2 These are all natural and are non-GMO, no msg, no nuts, not trans fat, and cholesterol free. They are also certified gluten free. I thought these were honestly okay, they were very cheesy and it felt like I was just eating crunchy cheese. My boyfriend described it as a much less powerful cheeto. My brother said that if you anted to use up all your calories and feel like you didn’t eat anything, this is the snack for you. So I guess it wasn’t a hit for him either. But if you like them or if you want to try them here is a coupon for $.75 off your next bag.

IMG_1338

Snap Back Cookies by The Cookie Department $2.50 These cookies are all natural and have no artificial flavors, no trans fat and have premium ingredients. They are Detox cookies, they have ginger, cayenne, and blackstrap molasses to aid your body for a natural detox. These are really good cookies, They are much softer then any other gingersnap cookie. The boys both said they were good and taste like a regular ginger snap cookie. No complaints from them. You can use the store locator to find a store near you, or you can order online.

IMG_1332

Chicago Mix by G.M. Cretors $2.99 They are gluten free, no artificial flavors or colors, Non – GMO, and made with natural sweeteners. The chicago mix is made with caramel and cheese. Sounds pretty odd, but they were surprisingly good. I really enjoyed them, they blended really well.  You can use the store locator to find a store near you that has them.

IMG_1335

Montmorency Cherries by Stoneridge Orchards $.85 These are all natural and only have two ingredients. Cherries and sunflower oil, they are also made in the U.S.A. They get four stars on Love With Food, many people complain about the bitterness of the cherries.

IMG_1331

Good For You Granola, Almond Butter and Jelly Sandwich by Jolly Oak $1.85 This granola is all natural, non GMO, superfood granola. It gets a average of four stars with an average outlook. I’m personally so sick, tired, and bored with granola in subscription boxes.

IMG_1334

Chocolate Cookies by Dulcetto $1 I was most excited for these cookies and they were totally worthy of my excitement. they are delicious. They are only 100 calories and are 100% natural, 0% transfat, and no artificial flavor or coloring. Also 15%off with coupon: 15DPGG

IMG_1337

So I payed $12 and received $12.44  in really good food. I don’t really understand the theme though. Love With Food said that they are trying to show healthy alternatives to baseball food instead of peanuts and cracker jacks. But when I found out that the theme was baseball, those were the snacks that I was electing to receive this month. Especially being the daughter of the biggest met fan on this planet. I know a thing or too about baseball and what is considered baseball food. I would never eat granola nor even be able to find granola at city field, and god lets hope it stays that way.

Popsugar Must Have Box – June 2014 – Review & Coupon!

I have to say that Popsugar Must Have Box is my favorite subscription box. The boxes are designed to give you the ‘Must Haves’ of the month. The Must Haves in beauty, fashion, fitness, food, and home. Popsugar Must Have Box is $39.95 monthly, $109.85 for 3 months, $214.70 for 6 months, or $429.50 for a yearly subscription. Click here to sign up for you first box and use coupon code JUNESELECT10 to save $10 off a three month subscription, or use coupon code REFER5 to save $5 off your first box!

As usual the box came in its pink and white box. I love it because I can spot it easily when the mailman is walking up to my house with it!

IMG_1295

What a nice surprise indeed! Popsugar has changed its boxing!

IMG_1296

They also changed their little booklets that let you know about everything in their box this month and why they have chosen it. I’m sad to see the old ones go, truthfully.

IMG_1299

First look into the box unvieled!

IMG_1297

The One & Only by Emily Griffin $28 Ahh! I’m so excited about this book. I read about it in cosmo and i was tempted to buy at the airport this week. I’m glad I didn’t! I’m currently reading The Best of Me by Nicholas Sparks, But when I’m done I can not wait to read this! I usually strongly advise people to going to eBay for all their missed popsugar needs, but, the link I provided has this book for $16 and its an amazon prime item!

IMG_1298

Shiny Citrus Body Lotion by Sachajuan $24 This lotion is supposedly great for wrinkles and calms irritation. It smells very nice, like oatmeal and fruit, I’m not sure if I will be keeping this item though since I am in my very early 20s and I’m pretty sure I don’t need this. Plus, thanks to subscription boxes I have more soaps and lotion my heart could ever desire. If you missed out check eBay.

IMG_1300

Turkish T Beach Towel $32 Normally I would have been so pleased to receive this item because, I love the material, I love the color, and I love the overall look of it….BUT… we LITERALLY just got this item in our ‘Limited Edition Spring Break’ Box. So, that was lame popsugar. I’m putting mine on eBay, for sure.

IMG_1301

You Smell in Lemon Wet Wipes $5 Wipes that smell like lemons…alright.  I could have gone without these. But if you can’t check out eBay!

IMG_1303

Lollies Basic Hair Ties $8  At first I was a little unsure about these, if I liked them or not, I’ve decided that I’m actually pretty happy about these. They are made out of the same material as a bathing suit to prevent them from stretching and breaking. When you’re not wearing them in your hair, they even look nice on your wrist as a bracelet. The only wish I have is that they would have given us the really pretty fun colored ones instead of the basic neutral colors. If you miss this, check out eBay.

IMG_1304

One Potato Two Potato in Hawaiian BBQ $2   I’ve received this brand before in a Love With Food Box and I tried Sweet Potato but I’ve been eyeing The Hawaiian BBQ chips when I found out about this brand last time, so I really excited to try these!

IMG_1302

Native Union $15 Gift Card  $15 I’ve received ‘headphones’ from this company before for the mens luxury holiday box, My boyfriend seemed excited about it but I don’t think he ever got around to using them. It seems like with this gift card you will still have to spend money seeing as they do not have much for $15 or less and you would still have to pay for shipping. This was also a very masculine item to include in this curation.

IMG_1305

I payed $40 and received $99 worth of the very best of the month (not including the $15 voucher) This price was pretty low this month, so I really hope they step up their game next month! This month was that big of a hit for me. Did you like this box?

Popsugar Must Have Review – Special Edition – Summer Box – June 2014

Popsugar Must Have Box is a subscription box that is designed to give you the ‘Must Haves’ of the month. The Must Haves in beauty, fitness, food, fashion, and home. Popsugar Must Have Box is $39.95 monthly, $109.85 for 3 months, $214.70 for 6 months, or $429.50 for a yearly subscription. Check out my review for the traditional style box hereBUT, this is a Special edition box which was here for limited time! It is the summer box which sends you LUXURY items and because it sends you luxury items the price is also higher than the traditional monthly box. The price to indulge in these luxury goodies is $100.

For some reason the limited edition boxes always arrive in a plain brown box, not like their normal white and pink box that they use for their monthly subscription.

IMG_1284

Inside the box was another box. This is the box that they use for every limited edition box. Sleek, chic, and a very well made box. I like to keep these boxes and use them for storage. (Mostly for hiding birthday/christmas presents).

IMG_1286

Box opened: Still black&white and very classy.

IMG_1287

Once more. Now greeted with the Must Have Summer Booklet, explaining what every item is and why they picked them for this box. every item in the luxury boxes are wrapped individually, unlike the normal monthly subscription boxes. I prefer that to be honest, I like having the thrill of the surprise.

IMG_1288

So the first item I pulled out was this Horn Necklace by Soixante Nuf Jewels by Joie Jager $155.  Its a nice necklace, I still have not yet decided if I like it enough to keep it or not though. I am very happy that I did luck out and get the turquoise. If you missed out on this item and want it I’m sure you can find it on ebay.com for a much more reasonable price than the website.

IMG_1289

Ocean Mist by Sachajuan $28 This is a mist for your hair that is supposed to leave your hair looking like you spent the day at the beach. It has 4 stars on amazon, customers are saying that it works very well but that the smell is very strong.  Personally I don’t think that it smells bad, it’s actually pretty fruity. You can even get it on ebay for less than the amazon price!

IMG_1290

Tarte Cheek Stain $30 and Lipsurgence Power Pigment $24 I’m actually so happy that this was a part of the box. I’ve literally been eyeing both of these products for the longest time. I don’t know why I never bought them, I guess the idea of a cheek stain was too advanced for me, or maybe just the word ‘stain’ freaked me out. I received both the cheek stain and lip pencil in the color Tipsy which is a beautiful pinky peach color. They both have 4 stars on sephora and everyone says that they are very long lasting and creamy! Always check eBay for the best prices!

IMG_1291

Blue Tropics Pouch by Samudra $60  This is a Popsugar Exclusive, but apparently you can still buy it on their website. Its just a little canvas bag they claim that it is good for iPads. Personally, I’m not really impressed. I’d prefer to not have items that were made specifically for popsugar, but thats just me. If you disagree, and must have this bag, do yourself a favor and go to eBay!

IMG_1293

Eliunt Extra Virgin Olive Oil from The Ingredient Finder  $15 These olive oils are from different countries all around the globe. The one I received is from Australia! I’ve never been there so I can’t wait to see what their olive oil taste like! My sister has been dying to go to Australia for years now and she is basically allergic to everything, but she can actually have this! So it will be nice to share this with her. If you want to try this flavor or a different flavor for less than the website, check out eBay.

IMG_1292

City Rocks Glasses from Sisters of Los Angeles $45 These were made exclusively for Popsugar, and have the Popsugar logo on the bottom of the glasses. They are San Francisco, New York, Los Angeles, and London. I feel like London is a little misplaced though, since it seemed to be like U.S. cities and then one European city. …You know the drill… eBay.

IMG_1294

So I payed $100 for this box and received $357 worth of really awesome beauty, fashion, food, and home products, that I can not wait to use . If you missed out on this box and want ALL of the stuff in this box you can go to ebay and some people are selling their whole box for $99! What did you think of this limited edition box? What product did you like the most and what do you think they should have included in this box instead of other products?

This month was MAUI!

It came in the smallest box I think I have ever received.

image

Just to compare! AND I wear a size 7 1/2. This box is tiny!

image 2

First look when you open the box

image 3

Unveiled!

image 4

The first color I pulled out was Ala Moana. It is a satin finish and it is a gorgeous turqouise blue.

image

These colors look really similar but this one is a lighter blue with a micro glitter finish. Its called Ka’ahumanu. I like how when you apply this glitter nail polish it’s still a  nail polish and not just a glitter top coat!

image 7

The last one is this beautiful Oragne-y tan color called Wailea and it is a high gloss creme finish.

image 6

I’m really impressed by how great the quality of these nail polishes really are. These bottles seem to be designed really nicely and very well made. All of the nail polishes glide on very smoothly and have a very creamy look to them. I am so Impressed with the quality of this nail polish subscription. A+ and a gold star for you, square hue!

They only thing that bothers me is that they do not have a store to buy there nail polishes. they are only a subscription box company that makes there own nail polish so it is difficult to find prices for the nail polishes and if you missed out on a color you really liked, its gone. They only make a limited amount each month. So if you really like some of the colors in this months box and you missed it I’m sure you could find them on ebay!
