Make Matte Finish Eyeshadow in Alabaster $25

FullSizeRender

I received these products complimentary from Make for testing purposes.

Make Makeup has been making a huge statement in the makeup world lately. They are a brand that was born in NYC and are focused on making makeup that is hypoallergenic, paraben free and never tested on animals! I love when a company has strong values like that! I’ve been trying to get my hands on their brand for awhile and I’m so glad I’m finally getting to test out two of their products.

This brand is available at:

barneys-logo

The lipstick is very silky, its not sticky which I like but I’m not in love with it. I think it might just be the color for me. The color shows up on me a little but it just looks a little bland with my skin coloring. I do like how moisturizing the lipstick is though you can feel it sinking into your lips and it feels super creamy. The eyeshadow is a very nice neutral color, it makes my eyes look brighter and bigger which I always love, since I have almond shaped eyes. I applied this dry to one eye and wet to the other eye, the results were the same with the color but the wet look looked more natural than applying it dry. When I applied it wet it had a more #IWokeUpLikeThis look than applying it dry because I could still see the powder on my eyelids. I think this color would be great even as a base color to prep your eyes to make a top color pop even more. I’m glad I got to test out these two products and look forward to exploring the brand further in the future.

Warheads Gummy Worms $2.90

These gummy worms are the newest candy to the warheads collection. I was expecting these to be super sour. Growing up with warheads candy, it was basically known that these candies were so sour that it was almost unbearable. Fortunately, these gummy worms are sweet and taste great!

Bugsy Snacks Peanut Flavor $1

This snack is from Israel.  I thought this snack was cheese puffs just from the image on the  bag but they are so far from it. I feel like this snack would taste exactly like those peanut packers you would pack a fragile package with. This snack is so weird it just evaporates in your mouth and you are left with a peanut powder. I don’t remember seeing this snack while I was in Israel last summer but I love experiencing new snacks!

Western Smokehouse Jerky Stick in Jalapeno and Sweet & Sassy $2 each

This is a snack made in America. I’m not huge on this kind of snack, I’m more of sweet and salty kind of girl. The sweet & sassy stick was extremely spicy. I was not expecting heat like that from a name like sweet and sassy. The jalapeño wasn’t as spicy as the sweet & sassy stick, which I wasn’t expecting. These aren’t flavors that I would pick up on my own but I’m glad I got to taste them.

UHA Puccho Soft Candy Mango $3

This soft mango candy is from Japan. Unfortunately, I’m allergic to mangoes so I’m having my boyfriend trying these out! Kevin loves anything mango and these definitely did not fail him. If anyone has tried Ben & Jerry’s mango sorbet, he says they taste exactly like that! Very sweet and delicious! This makes me jealous that I can’t try them!

Cikolatali Gofret $1

This chocolate bar is from Italy. I haven’t seen this on my trips to Italy but I usually go for the kinder bars while I’m there. This chocolate wafer bar is more wafer than chocolate. I would prefer vice versa, so I think on my next trip to Italy I will be sticking with my Kinder bars.

Cosmos Shell Shape Snack $2

This snack is from Korea. I’m extremely confused by what this snack is just from the bag alone. This snack is like peanut brittle cereal, if that makes any sense. Its like corn flakes in a honey peanut crusted glaze. Its such a weird mixture but we can’t stop eating it, it’s kind of addicting.

Sticky Toffee Pudding Co. Millionaire Shortbread $3.50

This is heavenly. I love shortbread, toffee, and chocolate. Everything just melts in your melt. I prefer my shortbread to be thick and hard rather than soft. But it is still delicious. I usually only take a bite of it when i do reviews but I do not want to stop eating it! Click here to see if there is a store by you that sells it!

image7

Zingermans Candy “what the fudge?” Bar $6

As soon as you open the box you get a strong smell of rich chocolate! It is the best scent in the world. Its like a cookie dough bar covered in dark chocolate. Its amazing and honestly, I drooled it was so delicious. You need to go pick one of these up if you love cookie dough and dark chocolate! Click here to see locations where they are sold.

image6

Stay. Sweet. Macs. Half-Dipped Macaroons $6

I’m a huge fan of anything coconut, especially with chocolate. These are so indulgent and delicious. But I wouldn’t say they are anything different than any other chocolate macaroons that I could just get at the local bakery in town. Don’t get me wrong they were delicious but they taste the same as all the other ones and there wasn’t anything special about these that I would have to go out of my way to find these.

image3

I really enjoyed the treats I got to try this month. I think its because there was a lot of snacks featuring chocolate this month. I payed $20 and received $19.50, the amount is pretty low for me. I would like to see at least $25 in product back. What did you think of this months box?

image8

Turkish T Diamond Throw $65

I know a lot of people were happy with this blanket, but I was not. I do love the design but this blanket is so thin it wouldn’t keep me warm one bit and I’m always cold! You can find it on eBay for less!

image6

Droga Money on Honey Caramels $8

I have never tasted anything better in my life. I was not expecting much from these, well I was expecting there to be more than 4 extremely thin little caramels. The box is very deceiving making you feel like you are getting more than you actually are. But I need a pantry full of these! I never wanted something more than I did right in this moment when I ate the last one!

image7

Loffler Randall Envelope Clutch $70

I was so excited to see a bag that was actually a neutral color and by a brand that you see in Bloomingdales! I was surprised by the price of the bag and that it was not listed for more! This bag is gorgeous and is textured. If you missed out on this darling bag, you can find it on eBay!

image4

Kate Somerville Exfolikate Intensive Exfoliating Treatment $22

I have been in love and obsessed with this brand and this particular product ever since I got the worlds smallest sample of it at sephora. My sister and I tried it one night and it worked so well we looked pore less. It gave off this amazing tingle on your face and it smells like christmas to me. It will forever be a staple in my beauty regime. You can find yours on eBay!

image5

RMS Beauty Luminizer and Brush $50 Total

I wasn’t too thrilled with this item. I thought it was a jewelry piece since it came in a jewelry box. Thats why my picture is so bad, I was upset. This is highlighter with a nifty brush. You can find this on eBay.

image9

I spent $100 and received $256 I feel like the price is just so much lower than last year. Not that I didn’t like the box this year. I will use almost everything. I just expected higher ticketed items. I feel like they have been lacking in that department lately. What did you think of this years holiday box?

YAY!!!!!

image 6

Butter London Wink Eye Pencil $18 This is the first item I pulled out of the box and I actually really like this brand so I was excited to see this in the box! Its more of a crayon than a pencil eyeliner which is also another plus for me! I’m used to wearing black eyeliner so I’ll try the gray and see if it works for me. If you missed out get it on ebay.

image

K. Hall Designs Shoreline $10 I have enough soap from subscription boxes to last me for life. But for some reason I still enjoy getting them! Even though the packaging is so simple, I still really like it. Maybe because I live on the harbor and colors and the name is just so nautical. The fragrance is just so fresh and clean! Get yours from eBay.

image 5

Happy Socks $12 I’m obsessed with these socks. I’ve always bought these socks for my boyfriend but I don’t know why I never bought them for myself. I love love love the print they are just PERFECT for fall. I’m so excited to wear them. If you missed out you can find them on eBay.

image 4

Dean & Deluca Pumpkin Spice Maltballs $5.50 I’m obsessed with everything pumpkin right now. So this was a great thing to include, because I’m pretty sure everyone else is in the same boat with me about pumpkin flavored everything! I never heard of this company before but that night I went to my friends apartment in the city and he had a Dean and Deluca shopping bag. Apparently they are a chain and have a few store locations scattered over the world.

image 3

Nailed Kit Halloween Decals $8 I love these so much. I already have my nail polish with the decals picked out for next week. This was just such a great addition.  They also have a monthly club! They send you two decal sets for just $10 plus free shipping! I think I might sign up! You can also find this on eBay for less!

image 2

Mine Design Chalkboard Candle $24 How freaking awesome. I think I get way too over excited about this candle, but I just love it. First, its a candle, it also has a chalk board, something about it is perfect for halloween, and the fragrance is beautiful. By the way, I wrote ‘Happy Halloween’ on the candle. You can find them for way less on eBay!

image 8

Isaac Jacobs International Acrylic Frame $36 I was just saying how I wanted a frame for this super cute picture of me and my sister when we were younger! This one is really cool because its magnetic and you can put two pictures on both sides, instead of seeing the back of the first picture.

The Blue Jean Bar – Blue Jean Box $40 Gift Code! I love trying out new subscription boxes and I love when pop sugar gives us discounts! this is so cool, its a lot like stitch fix, but I’m just hoping for better names and quality this time, I’m kind of a brand whore. I tried signing up for the box but for some reason my code is coming up invalid or expired! I’m so upset! I emailed blue jean bar and hopefully they will get back to me quickly! Did anyone else have this problem?

Overall I really LOVED this box. I was pretty concerned that I wasn’t going to like it as much as the september box, but it was great! So, I payed $40 and got back $153.50 including the blue jean box code! Even though it is much lower in price back than last month I still really enjoyed this box! What did you think of this months box? Do you like this month better than last month? Or vice versa? Click here to sign up for popsugar and get their next box!
