A Change Of Face
I have tried some products from Algenist but nothing to make me fully decide if I like or dislike their brand. This night serum is to be applied in the evening to the entire face after washing. This solid serum promises to regenerate, smooth, and recharge skin, all I feel is oily and like I have to wash my face again. After waking up with wearing this serum all night long, that usually does something to my face. My face feels like its hydrated and glow-y, but its definitely not. It looks like I had a terrible night sleep and my skin looks dehydrated. Not the look I should have gotten after wearing a serum like this.
I recently fell in love with a moisturizer very similar to this, but a bit more expensive. If this water moisturizer can measure up to the other one that I am currently obsessed with I will absolutely switch in a heart beat, only because this moisturizer is $20 less expensive. This moisturizer feels similar but it definitely doesn’t come close to other one that I use. Plus this one smells very strongly of mouthwash, I will be using this aqua bomb for nights only from now on.
I do not believe I have ever tried Bumble and Bumble shampoo or conditioner before, which is really odd because I feel like I should have tried this brand by now. This pair of shampoo and conditioner is supposed to leave your hair looking shiny and healthy. The shampoo did lather but after I rinsed my hair it felt dirty and I did shampooed my hair twice using this shampoo but it still felt dirty, I then used the conditioner and it just felt like it was sitting on my hair and not absorbing any of it. Both the shampoo and conditioner smelled amazing and dreamy but I am very concerned to see the end result, I feel like once dry my hair will end up looking stingy and like a giant mess. My hair looks amazing and beautiful and shiny but it does feel pretty rough. I would never buy this product because of the way it makes my hair feel in the shower and before drying. I need my hair to feel soft at all times.
I actually received this eye pencil in a purple color in the August 2016 box. I’m glad to have it in black now because that is more of a eyeliner color that I am personally more comfortable wearing.
This color is described as matte brick rose and is a waterproof liquid lipstick that promises to be an intensely pigmented color that lasts. This color is perfect for fall, I know this will be the color I am reaching for all season long. Not only is the color perfect but with only one application your lips are fully covered and looking flawless. Urban Decay Vice Liquid Lipstick dries extremely fast too, in a matter of seconds and leaves your lips feeling smooth and soft and ready for the day.
I have been wanting to try this product for maybe a year now, maybe even longer. Which is absurd, especially since I get my eyebrows done at the brow bar inside Macy’s! Plus, I’m pretty close with the girl who does my eyebrows too so if I wanted a sample she probably would have helped me out. But, at last, I finally get to try this product out. I just got my eyebrows done last week so they still look absolutely perfect, thanks to Dana. I applied this to my perfectly manicured eyebrows and I don’t see any change at all. This product is supposed to make my eyebrows look full but they don’t look any different, which really sucks for a product that I wanted to try for so long.
I really enjoyed all the products that arrived in this months box! I am always happy to try new products. What did you think of this months Play! box?
