Chanel Le Teint Ultra Tenue Ultrawear Flawless Foundation $60

Obviously, like every other girl on the planet I love everything Chanel! I have only tried Chanel lipsticks, so I’m excited to try a new foundation. I’ve been very partial to bare minerals foundation products so it is nice to try something different especially when its an high end product and double in price. This foundation promises to act more like a second skin than a foundation. The foundation will be long lasting and have a natural matte finish plus long wearing and weightless, and overall have a flawless look.

The color I’m trying is called 30 beige. I applied this foundation with my foundation brush, it went on very smooth and at first I was really enjoying the foundation. I never thought I would say this about a Chanel product in my life but I’m not impressed. Personally I give this one star, if it even deserves that. It did not give me much coverage and it did not have a natural matte finish. As soon as it started to dry on my face it made me look like I have used a whole case of powder.  It made every pore and peach fuzz on my face visible. This foundation promised to be a second skin and flawless natural look and it absolutely did not live up to its promises. I’m completely in awe of how much of a let down this product was and I truly do not recommend this to anyone.  Please however look into Maybelline Better Stay Powder and Bare Minerals BareSkin Foundation, if you are looking for a new foundation I promise you will be much more impressed with these choices.

I’m happy I had the experience of trying a new product but I am overall shocked and disappointed by this foundation.
