I received these products complimentary from Make for testing purposes.

Make Makeup has been making a huge statement in the makeup world lately. They are a brand that was born in NYC and are focused on making makeup that is hypoallergenic, paraben free and never tested on animals! I love when a company has strong values like that! I’ve been trying to get my hands on their brand for awhile and I’m so glad I’m finally getting to test out two of their products.

This brand is available at:

The lipstick is very silky, its not sticky which I like but I’m not in love with it. I think it might just be the color for me. The color shows up on me a little but it just looks a little bland with my skin coloring. I do like how moisturizing the lipstick is though you can feel it sinking into your lips and it feels super creamy. The eyeshadow is a very nice neutral color, it makes my eyes look brighter and bigger which I always love, since I have almond shaped eyes. I applied this dry to one eye and wet to the other eye, the results were the same with the color but the wet look looked more natural than applying it dry. When I applied it wet it had a more #IWokeUpLikeThis look than applying it dry because I could still see the powder on my eyelids. I think this color would be great even as a base color to prep your eyes to make a top color pop even more. I’m glad I got to test out these two products and look forward to exploring the brand further in the future.
