Miss Ivy Pearl Five Tassel Necklace $38

I can not find this anywhere online. There is no trace of Miss Ivy Pearl anywhere so it has to be something local and made exclusively for pop sugar. Tassels have been really big lately. I really love the blue color of these tassels, they are super cute and perfect for spring. Even though it is nowhere to be found on a shop website you can find plenty on eBay.

FullSizeRender 5

Goodie Girl Cookies Toffee Chaos $5

These are gluten free and peanut free and made in a peanut free facility, BUT they do include almonds! So please, please, please be aware of that if you have a nut allergy. These are super delicious and crunchy. I’m more of a soft and chewy kind of cookie girl but the toffee is such a nice addition. Find a store near you!

Nanette Nanette Lepore Watch $55

This watch is gorgeous and I love that we have the in to have a watch before it even comes out in stores! Nanette Lepores new watch line doesn’t hit stores until later this month! I love that we have VIP status with pop sugar to experience things before anyone else! You can pick up yours before anyone else on eBay!

FullSizeRender 6

Govino Carafe and Water Glass Set $15

I am so over govino. I think their product is stupid and I hate it.I wish pop sugar would stop sending out their products, all it is is just clear plastic cups that are – OMG – reusable! NO WAY! Sorry about the sarcasm, I just don’t understand the hype about govinos products. But if you totally disagree, you can find yours on eBay for much less.

FullSizeRender 3

Hello Extra Whitening Fluoride Toothpaste $5

I already found my dream match for my whitening toothpaste. I like that this is vegan and made in the USA but I don’t think I will be using this personally. You can find this on eBay.

FullSizeRender 7

Pixi By Petra Book of Beauty $24

I’m not a fan of pix makeup only because I’m in love with my bobbi brown and bare minerals. But this is a beautiful set for the spring. These colors will work with anyones skin coloring and look super flattering. You can find this palette on eBay.

FullSizeRender 2

I payed $40 and received $142 of great stuff. I’m really not a fan of this box I think I will passing most of this stuff on to someone else. What did you think of this months box? Click here to sign up to get your next box!

Quin Candy Fruit Lollipops $4

This is an assortment of fruit lollipops; strawberry, cherry, tangerine, and lemon. All of there candy is made by hand in small batches and made with bits of real fruit. These lollipops have 0 calories and 0g fat. They look delicious and I’m excited to try them.

image4

Sticky Toffee Pudding Co. Millionaire Shortbread $3.50

This is heavenly. I love shortbread, toffee, and chocolate. Everything just melts in your melt. I prefer my shortbread to be thick and hard rather than soft. But it is still delicious. I usually only take a bite of it when i do reviews but I do not want to stop eating it! Click here to see if there is a store by you that sells it!

image7

Zingermans Candy “what the fudge?” Bar $6

As soon as you open the box you get a strong smell of rich chocolate! It is the best scent in the world. Its like a cookie dough bar covered in dark chocolate. Its amazing and honestly, I drooled it was so delicious. You need to go pick one of these up if you love cookie dough and dark chocolate! Click here to see locations where they are sold.

image6

Stay. Sweet. Macs. Half-Dipped Macaroons $6

I’m a huge fan of anything coconut, especially with chocolate. These are so indulgent and delicious. But I wouldn’t say they are anything different than any other chocolate macaroons that I could just get at the local bakery in town. Don’t get me wrong they were delicious but they taste the same as all the other ones and there wasn’t anything special about these that I would have to go out of my way to find these.

image3

I really enjoyed the treats I got to try this month. I think its because there was a lot of snacks featuring chocolate this month. I payed $20 and received $19.50, the amount is pretty low for me. I would like to see at least $25 in product back. What did you think of this months box?

Popsugar Must Have Box is a subscription box that is designed to give you the ‘Must Haves’ of the month. The Must Haves in beauty, fitness, food, fashion, and home. Popsugar Must Have Box is $39.95 monthly, $109.85 for 3 months, $214.70 for 6 months, or $429.50 for a yearly subscription. BUT, this is a Special edition box which was here for limited time! It is the Resort box which sends you LUXURY items and because it sends you luxury items the price is also higher than the traditional monthly box. The price to indulge in these luxury goodies is $100.

image1

I personally love how they wrap everything one by one to give it more mystery to it.

image2

Jane Iredale My Steppes Makeup Kit $58

This is a makeup palette, it has two lip glosses, blush, and bronzer. Its the perfect size for travel or just to carry it in your bag for touch ups on your makeup. Unfortunately I never end up using these makeup palettes, So I will end up passing this along to someone who will use it. You can find this on eBay.

image4

Sloane Stationary Bon Voyage Passport Holder $48

I have been traveling internationally since I was in 6th grade, I am beyond thrilled to finally have a passport cover! I don’t know why I didn’t have one from the beginning but I’m so glad I got this! It doesn’t feel like real leather to me but I still like the mimic of Saffiano Leather this passport holder features. You can find one on eBay for a really low price!

image6

Drunk Elephant C-Firma Day Serum $80

I’ve read a lot of reviews on this complaining about the smell of this product. I know a lot of people are huge fans of this brand though because they are an ingredient conscious line. I don’t think I will be keeping this serum though. You can find this on eBay.

image3

Jacobsen Salt Co. Pure Sea Salt Cocktail Salt $14

I wasn’t expecting something like this to be in a pop sugar box but I guess it does fit! This is a great item to add to the resort box. This will be great once it gets warmer, it is still very cold on Long Island, and it is supposed to snow in two days! Getting this is like hope for sunnier days! You can find it on eBay.

image7

Lele Sadoughi Half-Moon Pendant $110

So happy that pop sugar finally added a silver jewelry piece. Love this necklace it is so beautiful and can complete any casual outfit. The chain is a 14k white gold plated and features a genuine cabochon stone. I really love this necklace I know it will fit nicely with my wardrobe. You can find this on eBay for a lot less!

image8

Stephanie Johnson White Dot Train Case $60

This is a pop sugar exclusive so it is not available on their website. I can’t decided if I should keep this or not. I have so many of these since I’m traveling like 6 times a year but I really love the design of this one. I love how it is so easy to clean up inside and outside if there is a spill while traveling. You can find this on eBay for so much less.

image5

So I payed $100 for this box and received $370 worth of really awesome beauty, fashion, food, and home products, that I can not wait to use . If you missed out on this box and want ALL of the stuff in this box you can go to ebay and some people are selling their whole box! What did you think of this limited edition box? What product did you like the most and what do you think they should have included in this box instead of other products?

The Must Haves in beauty, fashion, fitness, food, and home. Popsugar Must Have Box is $39.95 monthly, $109.85 for 3 months, $214.70 for 6 months, or $429.50 for a yearly subscription. The Wet Brush $4.99

I still have my wet brush from when popsugar sent them out in 2013. But this one is the traveled size brush, so I guess that justifies them sending out literally the same product they did a year and a half ago. I do really love this brush though, all joking aside. This brush is okay to use on wet hair because the bristles are so soft and flexible and move with your hair, if you use other brushes on your wet hair you are breaking your hair. You can find it on eBay.

image3

Knock Knock What To Pack Travel List Pad $7

I actually almost bought this a stocking stuffer one year for my boyfriend, since we travel so much. I ended up getting the grocery list instead.I’m glad that I have this now and I know that we will both use this! You can also find this on eBay.

image9

Benefit Roller Lash Travel Size – $8

Benefit The POREfessional Primer – $4

I always love getting benefit cosmetics even if they are samples. Plus, Ive been hearing a lot about this mascara so I’m excited to finally get to try it! I stopped wearing primer about a year ago because I felt like it was clogging more pores and making my skin just feel cake-y.

image7

Halpops Chipotle Barbeque $1.69

I’m not a fan of popcorn, chipotle or barbeque flavoring so this wasn’t my favorite item in the box, but my boyfriend seems thrilled about it and can not wait to try them. I think out of all four flavors I would have liked the aged white cheddar the most. I wish I got that one instead, but Kevin will be happy with this one. The popcorn is NON-GMO and also Gluten Free.

image8

Samudra Pink Pina Zip Pouch $40

This bag was made exclusively for Popsugar, so you can not find this anywhere else! The bag is a see through material and features super cute pineapples. The bag is such a cute design, but I literally have 3 bags exactly like this, thanks to popsugar. So I think I will be passing this along to a someone else who will use it. You can find this on eBay.

image11

Bliss Micro Magic Spa-Powered Microdermabrasion Treatment$48

First of all, love the brand. I have never heard of this product though so I’m glad I got it in this box. Otherwise I wouldn’t have spent $48 on a exfoliater. It gets 4.75 stars out of 5 stars on Sephora. Everyone on sephora is saying how wonderful of a scrub this is and how it truly is like a spa quality treatment. I wasn’t sure if I was going to keep this or pass it along, but I just might have to keep it now. You can find this on eBay.

image4

Lemon + Cucumber Archivist Reed Diffuser $20

I love, love, love, diffusers.  I like the way the look and I really like the way this one looks. I have never seen a diffuser with black reeds. That is like the coolest thing ever for me. I love the smell, its perfect for spring. It smells very fresh. It makes me want to wake up with sunshine spreading through my windows, kind of feeling. You can find this on eBay.

 image10

I payed $40 and received $133.68, $3.82 less than last month. I’m indifferent about this box. I can’t decide if I liked it or if it was just alright. I really enjoyed the well known brands they have added to the box this month. If you missed out on this box completely and want to buy it, you can get the whole box on eBay.Click here to sign up to get your next box!

BeautyDNA Subscription Box – Review – March 2015

BeautyDNA is a fairly new subscription box company. They only send you FULL SIZE products, which I love because I hate paying for sample sizes, samples should be free. The really cool thing about this site is that they match you to your perfect beauty products as you would on a dating site. You fill out a survey about what you want in terms of hair, face, and body products and list what you need help with and what scents you like and don’t like. They send you one to two full sized items for only $25 a month. How awesome is that!?

IMG_2559

I’ve been matched! I was matched to this face cleanser because I said that I have oily skin and prone to breakouts. I was also paired to this because I like foam cleansers and lightweight formulas. It also contains green tea which I like.

IMG_2560

June Jacobs Anti-Aging Blemish Control Foaming Cleanser $48

It had a very strong ginger smell which I can’t really stand. The foam was nice but it didn’t really feel like it was deep cleaning like it said it would. This cleanser also features 1% salicylic acid, broccoli extract, blue daisy extract, turmeric extract, tea tree oil, and camphor.

IMG_2561

I payed $25 and got a product worth $48, I’m not thrilled with the amount of the box but I’m glad that I got to experience a new brand. What did you think of this months BeautyDNA box?

Jib Gem Subscription Box- Review – March 2015

Jib Gem is a jewelry subscription box. They send out (2-3) pieces out each month for only $20 a month. They send out: necklaces, bracelets, and earrings.

IMG_2542

I absolutely LOVE this necklace. I was unsure how the quality would be when I bought this but I thought I would still give it a try. The quality is just like JCrews $60+ necklaces. I’m really happy with this necklace and I have already worn it to work and got so many compliments.

 IMG_2544

I think these earrings are super cute but they are not my style, I find them too young for me. I was thinking about gifting it to my cousins daughter. I think these would love really cute on her. Again, really great quality in these earrings. I’m extremely impressed.

IMG_2545

I’m extremely impressed with this new subscription box, Unfortunately I have found a few problems with this subscription box so far. Firstly, they do not include a information card about the items nor any prices. Also on their website there is nothing that gives you any information about your account, you will find only a place to update your shipping and billing information. Lastly, They do not send or post any tracking information. You are completely in the dark with when anything is being shipped. I hope since they are such a new subscription box that they will address all these problems in the near future. Other than that I’m am excited to see what else they have to offer! What did you think of this months JibGem Box?

Birchbox Subscription Box – Review – March 2015

I’m pretty sure Birchbox is the subscription box that started it all. I never subscribed to it because I didn’t like the idea of paying $10 for samples. From what I noticed there isn’t a set list of items that everyone gets, like in POPSUGAR. Which I really hate, I would prefer if all boxes were the same. The cost of the box is $10 and free shipping. You will receive around 5 samples each month!

I love how the boxes have a new cute design each month!

Model Co. Party Proof Matte Lipstick – Set of (3) $20

I got mine in Dusk Till Dawn, which is the name of my Aunt Dawns boat, haha. I’ve received some of Model Co. products before in other boxes and my feelings toward them have been pretty neutral. But I absolutely love this lipstick. It is my favorite item in the box by far. The color is beautiful and it is soft on your lips and glides so effortlessly. Plus, I really like the container. Overall, I really like this lipstick and I’m glad I got it.

image7

Jelly Pong Pong Glow Getter Highlighter – Full Size $12.75

I received this FULL SIZE!

At first I thought this was nail polish, but I was ecstatic to find out that it was actually highlighter. I used to use Benefit High Beam Highlighter, but stopped a few years back when I was still in High school and didn’t have a job and found $26 to be very expensive for makeup. I remember that one being very thick and sticky, this one is 90% water so it is very light and does not clog any pores. The lower price point and bring pimple free is looking pretty good to me!

image6

Amika Bombshell Blowout Spray – Full Size $24

I was nervous to use this at first because for some reason I thought it was a oil, and I have very thin hair and oil weighs my hair down, but its actually a very light weight spray. This is so much better because it will be able to volumize, smooth and protect my hair. It has an interesting smell, I say interesting because I can’t really pin point what it is. Overall I do enjoy the scent that the spray has. The spray makes my hair super soft and keeps my flyways tamed when I blow dry my hair. I favorited this item on birchbox!

image3

Embroyalisse Lait-Creme Concentre 24 Hour Miracle Cream – Full Size $16-$28

Apparently this is a primer and a makeup remover all in a face lotion. Its a very light weight lotion with a light scent. I don’t know why but I’m not particularly crazy about this lotion. Maybe its the feel of the bottle its in, it reminds me of like an prescription ointment cream that you have to take instead of a luxurious cream that you want to treat yourself to. Other than that the cream is fine!

image5

Yes To Cucumbers Soothing Facial Wipes – Full Size $5.99

I have been a fan of Yes To for a while, I currently own the full size of these wipes and the day before I got this box I bought the grapefruit wipes also. I am plenty stocked on Yes To wipes at the moment. Not only are they great at getting makeup off and cleaning your face I like to carry them in my purse and also they are so great for traveling. I just came back from Florida and I always like to carry these to wipes my face on the plane and wipe down the seats and trays. These are a Must Have in my book.

image4

Overall I really enjoyed this months birchbox! I got to experience new brands, new items from brands I did know, and add to my collection of what I have already! Starting to really love Birch box. What did you think of this months box?

Kiss Me I’m Irish Cake Pop in Red Velvet from Sweet E’s Bake Shop $3.75 (Half dozen $22.50)

I got this just in time for St. Patricks Day. My boyfriend and I both agree that this cake pop is delicious. The cake is moist, not too rich, and the chocolate is smooth. We both enjoyed this immensely. We only wished there was one for each of us and we didn’t have to share. They only have one bakery in Los Angeles, other wise you can order from them online.

image3

Chocolate Almond Smackaron $1.30

I love dark chocolate, almonds, and coconut, but for some reason this combination just wasn’t doing anything for me. It definitely was not the best item in the box. It also gave off a healthy smell aroma which is not what I want to smell when I’m about to indulge in a gourmet dessert.

image4

Itty Bitties Shortbread Cookies by Orange Glad

I love love love shortbread cookies but these were too soft. We both agreed that the taste was great but the texture was way too soft. He described them as “soggy”. Maybe Orange Glad should just stick to sending out the cookies instead of making them.

image7

Russian Tea Cakes by Orange Glad

Here is another product from Orange Glad. I was under the impression that we would be only receiving Gourmet desserts in this box. We only received three little tea cakes. And I’m glad. They have an overwhelming nutty flavor . They are very dry and Kevin said that “it tasted like a dog treat”, I don’t know how often he eats dog treats, but I do agree that they were not that good.

image6

San Juan Sea Salt Seattle Chocolates $3.50

I have received Seattle Chocolates before from a Treatsie Box. They are absolutely amazing and I loved them. This is my first time trying this flavor though, I received three other bars from them that I fell head over heels for. This bar is non-GMO and gluten free. There chocolate is so creamy, I think its because they use coconut oil. Seattle Chocolates is definitely one of my favorite chocolates, if not my favorite. I would totally invest in a whole set of them, they are the absolute best. You can find a store near you that has them in stock.

image5

This box was terrible for me. It felt like everything was just made in there house and they threw it all in a box. The only item I was happy to see was the seattle chocolate bar. There was nothing in this box that felt gourmet to me. I have already continued my subscription for next month, giving them another chance. Hopefully they will redeem themselves. What did you think of this months box?
