Our Covid19 Wedding Postponement Announcement

The day Kevin and I rescheduled our wedding and rebooked all of our vendors we also ordered our Postponement Announcement and new Save The Dates from Staples and had them printed for same day pickup. We addressed them all, sealed them, and stamped them and all had them ready to go out for the next day by the end of the night. We were so excited for the little bit of security of knowing whats going on after living for months of uncertainty of is our wedding going to get cancelled. In no way were we thrilled to have our wedding postponed but there was something about not having to worry or wonder that soothes your mind.

We had a photo shoot a few days after we found out that we had to postpone and we were pretty upset but ready to make fun of the whole situation because what else could we do. My mom and Sister had the idea of us dress up like this and my sister even made a paper mâché coronavirus that is also a piñata. My sister actually made two of them, filled them with candy and let Kevin and I beat the virus with a bat! Literally best sister and Maid Of Honor ever!

My dress was Wild Fable from target for only $25, I got it back before the lockdown thinking I could wear it on the bachelorette and honeymoon! My veil is personalized and says Future Mrs. Merola from Wedding Favorites, its only $18! Kevin is wearing his favorite scrubs from FIGS seriously anyone in the medical field that has to wear scrubs should get these they are so comfy!

Our Engagement Photos!

Happy Wedding Wednesday!

I wanted to share our engagement photos we took only a couple days after we got engaged! I can’t believe that was over 2 years ago and now we are only 9 months away from our wedding day! We were so incredibly lucky that one of my sisters friends from high school is in school for photography and just happened to be home for the week! You can find her instagram page here. Here are a few of my favorite pictures from our engagement shoot!

I went crazy looking for a new white flowy dress and couldn’t find anything I liked. Luckily I wore this dress that I already had in my closet! I was so nervous about wearing it because I thought it was going to look old or cheap! I got this dress for only $20 at Marshalls! Since I can’t find it online, here are some similar styles:

Why I Have A LOVE / HATE Relationship With Popsugar Must Have

I have subscribed to Popsugar Must Have boxes since the second box that has ever came out in August 2012. I have been subscribed since that day and have received every single month, limited edition, and neiman marcus box that has come out. I would definitely say that I am one of their most loyal customers.

Popsugar has forgotten things in my boxes, forgotten to update my tracking, and have forgotten to mail out my box all together. Because of my loyalty status you think things like this would have not happened after 6+ years. Instead, it has definitely gotten worse because of their down spiraling customer service attitude.

Popsugars Customer Service has THE WORST customer service I have personally ever encountered. They are unapologetic, rude, and uninterested in any problems customers come across with their boxes. Every time I have reached out to them they take too long to respond, talk down to me, or dance around the problem that never gets resolved.

I have wrote an email to Lisa Sugar the CEO of Popsugar about my most recent problem of my December 2017 box, how they forgot to mail it out and that I received the box on Christmas Eve when I should have received it weeks earlier. The box had seasonal items that I really would have liked to have used before the holiday. I told them how I have been subscribed to them for so long and I think this behavior that is constantly reoccurring is unacceptable. I never got a response.

I still subscribe to Popsugar Must Have Subscription Box because I genuinely love the boxes and items inside the boxes. I just wish that Popsugar would reciprocate their love and appreciation for me! I really don’t think it is that much to ask for of a brand to have respect for such a loyal customer! In conclusion, I definitely feel like this is a subscribe at your own risk subscription box. Don’t expect to be treated warmly or with any ounce of respect. Popsugar just wants your money and they are not interested in giving you anything more than the product….that may or may not show up.
