Escape Monthly is a subscription box that sends you luxury travel products from all over the world!
This month was CALIFORNIA!
The box is usually $45 a month, but because I had a Living Social deal it only came out to $29! Also one of the subscribers will win a trip to the destination of the box’s current themed location! So, Good Luck! Use YOURESCAPE to get 20% off the box subscription price FOR LIFE!
The box arrived in this beautiful blue colored box
First look into the opened box!
Inside the booklet they give you a few little facts about California
Also inside the booklet is a list of all the items in the box this month with a summary and retail prices.
Moon California Travel Guide $21.99 but you can get it on amazon for $15.82 This was actually the most expensive item in the box and I’m not a fan of that. I was just in San Fran last summer so I don’t know when and if I would use this any time soon.
Juice Beauty Age Defy Hand Cream $12 It gets five stars on their website and even though it is in green apple it smells pretty lemon-y. It is also made with certified organic ingredients!
Hugo Naturals Vanilla & Sweet Orange Soap $3.99 Literally smells like a creamsicle! YUMM! It is Handcrafted in USA with all natural essential oils. No animal testing, gluten and soy free, vegan, no artificial colors or synthetic fragrances. Thanks to subscription boxes I have all the hand soaps in the world!
Caliwater Cactus Water $3.50 I’ve actually never tried cactus water so I’m really excited to try it out! It is supposed to be really great for hydrating with vital nutrients. Only 32 calories, no added sugar, gluten free and low glycemic. I’m saving this for one intense work out day!
Nicobella Organics 2 Piece Truffle $3.95 It came in this little brown box, These truffles are vegan, organic, natural, fair trade, dairy free, and soy free.I was so excited to see this because my sister is allergic to everything and i thought she could have this, but unfortunately the truffles include sunflower oil, which she can not have. I have received the Blueberry and the Walnut truffle, they are absolutely decadent. I prefer the blueberry one over the walnut. I think $4 is pretty pricey for just two truffles though, so I am glad I got to experience it here because I wouldn’t have found these or payed for these truffles anywhere else.
IPS All Natural Egg White Chips $1.99 I received the Egg White Chips in Aged White Cheddar. These chips are all natural, 7g of protein, gluten free, 0g trans fat, non-gmo corn, no artificial flavors, colors, or preservatives. They are actually pretty good, they remind me of the puffed popcorn, which is what I think they were going for.
San Franola in Cinnamon Almond $1.99 Granola in cinnamon alomond with high fiber and10g protein. They say that it is an all day snack but I prefer to have mine with milk. I keep getting granola in all of my boxes lately and I wish it would end. Every time I pull another bag of granola out of a subscription box all I can hear is Cher from Clueless.
Premium Sea Sponge $7.99 The sponge in the box came unbranded so the link is to a similar sea sponge. These sponges are great for exfoliating. Unfortunately, I just bought one of these the other day so I’m going to give it to a friend.
BONUS! California Poppy Kit $6.99 Inside the can is a bunch of tiny seeds and a information card telling you when to plant the poppies and how to take care of your poppies. I am so excited to plant these with my mom this week!
Next Month Is….
I spent $29 on this months box and received $64.39 The value is there when you get a deal on the box. What did you think of this box? Will you be signing up for next month for Las vegas?
