J&Ms Foods Chocolate Chip Pecan Cookies $2.90

I’m not a huge of J&M’s Food items. They all just taste way too processed. But I do like the idea of chocolate chip cookies with pecans.

Quin Candy Dreams Come Chew

I’m more of a chocolate kind of person over a chewing candy. Plus I’m so sick of this brand, its always in treatise boxes. I’m not really a fan of their candy.

Bees & Beans Honey Bar Jr

First off I love the packaging of this little candy bar! I’m such a sucker for branding like that. All of their candies are hand made and use local ingredients! I think that is such a special touch to a chocolate bar!

Salem Baking Co. Chocolate Moravian Cookies $5

These are kind of like ‘diet’ cookies because they are so thin and crisp. Seven of these cookies are 130 calories. These cookies are super yummy and they are so rich and chocolate-y for such a thin cookie.

Shotwell Candy Co. Tennessee Toffee $6

I thought this was caramel at first so I was excited to see that it was toffee instead. As always when it comes to toffee, I am a fan. Not too buttery and not too sweet.

Seattle Chocolates in Sea Salt Caramel and Pink Bubbly

Literally was beyond excited to see Seattle Chocolates in this box. I was introduced to Seattle Chocolates through Treatise and I have become a huge fan of their chocolate bars! These bars are Gluten-Free, Non GMO, All Natural and are made with cocoa butter and coconut oil! Saying I’m obsessed with these bars are probably an understatement. I’ve already looked at their gifts section for party favors for my wedding in the future.

Zingerman’s Candy Chocolate Covered Peanut Brittle

These are pretty good, I’ve grown to love peanuts over the last year and I really like these. It kind of reminds me of a reeses cup! See the store locator to find a store that carries this near you.

I payed $20 and I stopped keeping track of how much they send out because they are very sneaky with their “pricing”. I’m not sure how much longer I’m going to continue to subscribe to Treatsie, Maybe until February and that will end my subscription with them. What did you think of this months box?

Brandy Spiked Eggnog Artisanal Popcorn

I hate getting popcorn in subscription boxes. I despise popcorn and this one had such a bad taste to it. It tasted dirty and terrible. Don’t get me wrong, I love eggnog and because  this popcorn was called spiked eggnog I thought I might even like it. But I truly don’t, I literally just threw out the whole bag.

Avenue Sweets Caramel Assortment

I really like these caramels they are like the perfect consistency of a caramel and what you would expect – chewing wise. My only note is that they taste a little bit waxy after a while.

Malvi Marshmallow in Red Velvet

I have tried another marshmallow combination from Malvi from treatise before. In this same year. So honestly I’m not too happy about the repeat in products. Plus I’m not a big red velvet person nor a marshmallow person. So I’m overall unhappy with this product.

Velvet Rope Bakeshop Salted Caramel Apple Oatmeal Cookies

This is a pack of three cookies. I personally really like them, They are sweet and salty and they literally taste like I just baked them. They do not taste store bought or like they have been sitting in a box. They are so fresh and I definitely recommend them!

image5

Tumbador Pecan Caramels

I’ve tried there chocolate before through Treatise and I’ve really liked them. These caramels are really good but they seem kind of boring for tumbador. They usually have something that you don’t expect from them. I’m not impressed this time with them. but I still recommend their pb&j bar!

image4

Laurie & Sons Milk Chocolate Toffee With Maine Sea Salt

I really love Toffee, this one was really good and buttery! my only complaint is that it felt like a sample. This whole big bag and you only get 5 mini toffees.

Quince & Apple Apples and Cranberry Preserves $9

I can’t believe this little jar is $9. I’ve tried the tart cherry one from a pop sugar box! I believe I still have I think I will definitely get a lot more use out of apples and cranberry though. I’m excited to use it!

Unfortunately, I did not get my box in time for halloween!

image2

Karamel Krunch Candy Bar $2.50

This candy bar is only available around halloween time, so it is currently unavailable to purchase now but they promise it will be back for halloween 2016! I love love love the milk chocolate but I’m not really sure why its called a ‘crunch’ bar because its not at all crunchy. Its more of a chewy bar. I taste undertones of caramel but I like the candy bar but I think the name is misleading.

image4

Le Bon Garcon Spiced Cider Caramels $5

I love how soft the caramels are but i’m not at all a fan of the taste. I don’t know why but I get a fishy after taste, I’m not at all a fan of these caramels.

image7

Torie & Howard Chewie Fruites $5

I’m confused as to why they would add this candy into the box this month, it seems a bit irrelevant to the rest of the box. These are like healthy, really soft, starburst. To sum it up, I’d rather have starburst. I tried the pomegranate chew and I strongly disliked it but my boyfriend and our friend really enjoyed them!

image3

Colts Chocolates Milk Chocolate Bolt $3

This was super delicious and tasted just like a gourmet reeses. I just wasn’t fond of the whole almonds on the inside it would have been better if they were chopped up it was a little weird to bite into this and have a huge almond in it.

image6

Cocoa Dolce Dark Chocolate Caramel Pecan Bar $3.25

I was so excited to see chocolate in this box! This bar is like the perfect fall chocolate bar. It taste like a thanksgiving dessert. Like a pecan caramel pie  all in one little bar. I’m OBSESSED. I hope to see more of this brand of chocolate in future boxes.

I payed $20 and received $18.75 worth of candy. It really bothers me how treatise pretends that the prices of the candy is actually more. It really bothers me and I’m not sure how much longer I’m going to continue to subscribe to Treatsie.

Mighty Brittle $8

I absolutely love this maple brittle! its sweet but subtle and chewy. I love it and its the perfect flavor for fall so right when I saw this I was happy and now that I have tried it I’m even more happy! This was definitely a great treat to add in this months box.

IMG_3273

Salty Road Salty Caramel Apple Salt Water Taffy $7

I’ve tried salty road salt water taffy so many times from treatise, pop sugar, and love with food. So when I saw this I was happy because i knew I was going to love them! They are the right texture of chewy and soft and the flavors are always perfect.

IMG_3274

Marlos Bakeshop Biscotti $2.75 each

First off I’m Italian so Biscotti is the ultimate win on my part! The original is full of cinnamon. I adore anything cinnamon, so instant win for me. I’m not a fan of banana bread, this biscotti was a little bit softer than the original biscotti and it was a little too banana-y for me. I thought the midnight biscotti was going to be my favorite but it turned out to be the most bland. out of all of them the original was my favorite.

Grey Ghost Peanut Butter and Chocolate Chip Cookies $.75 each

I’ve tried Grey Ghost Cookies before and I wasn’t in love with them last time. They taste fine but I’m just not into thin crunchy like cookies. I prefer them to be thicker and gooey. But I love these chocolate chip cookies, they could become addicting real fast. Out of all of their cookies that I have tried the Chocolate Chip cookies are by far my favorite.

IMG_3189

Walker Creek Sea Salt Caramel $6

These caramels are amazingly soft and super delicious. They basically just melt in your mouth and they are definitely “damn fine candy”. I would want for sure want to try all of the flavors.  Unfortunately their only location is in Watertown, Tennessee.

IMG_3191

Butterfields Hard Candy Buds $6

I’m not a hard candy fan, I prefer chocolate or caramels. So I’m going to pass these along to my sister at college as a quick snack between classes. They are gluten free, dairy free and made with pure sugar. They will be perfect for her so I’m excited to see how she likes them.
