Les Anis de Flavigny Lemon Candies $5 I love the packaging of this lemon candy, and I’m fine with the lemon flavor but I really wish I got the rose one instead. I love the candies, they are like little pearls, I thought they were more of a mint but they are just a sucking candy and they are only 5 calories.

image 2

Bonne Marie StrawberryPreserves $3  I love jams and jellys! I prefer raspberry, but strawberry is fine. Getting one straight from france is pretty cool, even though it is the smallest size ever.

 image 9

Pierre Biscuiterie Butter Cookies $4.25 WOW! These are delicious and taste like christmas! I’m not surprised at all that it has 5 stars on amazon. They are soooo buttery and perfect. They are called “butter cookies” but I’m pretty sure they are shortbread. 5 cookies are only 150 calories, honestly thats not bad, I thought it would have been a lot worse than that!

image 7

Institut Karite Creme Mains Ultra Riche $23 I’m so upset! I really wanted the rose one! I’m so upset that I got the boring one! It has no design at all! UGH I’m so mad! But, it has 5 stars on amazon, and they say that is extremely hydrating with out being greasy, so I might give this  a try.

 image 10

Rick Steves Pocket Paris $12.99 I usually hate these books but since I’m most likely going back to paris in a fews I will be holding onto this one. If you are also planning your trip to paris you can find these on eBay for less.

image 6

Edmond Fallot Dijon Mustard $5 I’m not a fan of any kind of mustard, but this mustard has a five star rating on amazon. Everyone on amazon raves about this mustard and say that it is a hidden gem of paris! I will be passing this off to a family member that loves mustard.

image 8

Nuxe Fondant Body Scrub $10? + Nuxe Fondant Shower Gel $8? I could not find the travel sizes anywhere so I’m guessing on their prices. I’m usually really not impressed with trail sizes and wasn’t expecting much from this one, mostly because of the packaging. But this one impressed me I love the scent and the texture, it is very high quality. I will eagerly anticipate using this on my next vacation!

image 5

This box cost $49 a month and I have received $71.24 of some really amazing travel items from Paris! This box didn’t really make me feel like it was about paris though. I was expecting macaroons and a Eiffel tower keychain!

Next Month is Puerto Rico! It will be shipping September 16!

What did you think of this months box? Will you be signing up for the Puerto Rico box? I have discontinued my box for now, let me know if you think I should reconsider and subscribe to them again.

Escape Monthly Subscription Box – Review & $10 OFF Coupon – July 2014

Escape Monthly is a subscription box that send you luxury travel items from all over the world!

This month was INDIA!

The box is $45 a month. One of the subscribers will win a trip to the destination of the box’s current themed location! So, Good Luck! Remember to use YOURESCAPE to save $10 off you subscription each month!

I was very excited about this box because I’ve never been to India, so it was very nice to experience through this box!

IMG_1717

INDIA!

IMG_1718

First glance inside the box!

IMG_1719

Organic Grass Fed Ghee $2.95 At first I had no clue what this was, I thought it was baby food. But its actually “butter, made from the milk of a cow.” Which literally most butter is made from so I kind of confused as what makes this ghee and not just regular butter. I think its funny how the name of the company is Pure Indian Foods and yet it is made in New Jersey.

IMG_1723

Amber Perfume Oil $9 A little goes a very long way with this bottle! And thats great news since this bottle is only 5ml! Its very very tiny but luckily the scent makes up for its size! Its not a scent that I would have drifted to on my own, but I’m very glad I came across it in this box, it has kind of a musky scent to begin with, it kind of smells like grandmas – in the best way possible – it truly is a beautiful scent! If you missed this item, you can find it on eBay!

IMG_1726

Saffron Road Korma Simmer Sauce $3.99 This looks so, so, so, so good! This is NON GMO, Vegetarian, No MSG, and Gluten Free! Plus, there are only three easy steps to this extremely easy dinner! I can not wait to try this!

IMG_1724

Moon Travel Guide Taj Mahal, New Delhi & Jaipur $19.90 I understand that this is a destination box and that these boxes are supposed to have these books in them, but I just hate them, I feel like they are a waste of money and space. Although it is a nice book to have around if you are planning on visiting India anytime soon. You can find this item on eBay for less!

IMG_1725

Banyan Botanicals Healthy Hair Oil $14.95 This is a pre shampoo wash. You are supposed to put this in your hair and scalp 30 mins before you wash your hair. This is made out of organic ingredients, but unfortunately smells like cat pee! This hair oil promotes thick and lustrous hair nourishing for all hair types. I have thin hair and all of the reviews say that this will make your hair grow longer and thicker and even make your nails nicer. I’m all for this! You can find this item on eBay.

 IMG_1722

Nemat International Musk Amber Fragrance Sample $2 This is a sample from the same brand as the amber perfume, I feel like amber is a musky fragrance to begin with, so this is just a very overwhelming scent of grandmother. Its a very nice scent though – I do not mind having that scent around. Even though this is a sample size I know that it will last me very long because it is a perfume oil, so a little goes a long way!

IMG_1721

Banyan Botanicals Cedar Eucalyptus Trial Size Bar Soap  $.75 Wow they have this brand at sears! This soap is made with nutrient rich oils and organic ingredients. Hmm, in the pamphlet it list this soap as a full size item and I seem to have received the trial size. Did anyone else get this size too, or was that just me?

IMG_1727

Gouri Puja Indian Bindi $2 This was such a fun item to include! I immediately tore off the green one and wore it around for a few hours!  If you missed out on this item, you’re in luck! You can find this on ebay!

IMG_1728

Maya Kaimal Kashmiri Curry $7.39 It has such a nice spicy scent, it kind of reminds me of sloppy joes in a way. I really wish I could cook dinner with this. Unfortunately, mine opened in the box and didn’t spill too bad but this item needs to be refrigerated once opened so I had to throw this item out. I have contacted Escape Monthly and they have provided the choice of a new bottle or an extra 20% off my next box! They are so kind!

 IMG_1729

Masala Pop Chai Masala Popcorn $3 This is very good popcorn! I swear it taste like ginger snap cookies!I have been receiving a lot of popcorn in subscription boxes lately, so when I saw this I was like great another popcorn with spices. BUT this is actually caramel popcorn, which I have yet to receive from any subscription box. I really enjoy this one though, it is all natural, Gluten Free, Vegan and NON GMO corn. It also was inspired by original Indian tea recipes.

IMG_1720

This box cost $49 a month and I have received $65.93 of some really amazing travel items from India! This box truly makes me want to visit India so badly!

Next Month is PARIS! I can not wait for that box, I haven’t been to paris in years! I hope they include macaroons! It will be shipping August 18!

What did you think of this months box? Will you be signing up for the Paris box?

Escape Monthly Subscription Box Review & Coupon – June 2014

Escape Monthly is a subscription box that sends you luxury travel products from all over the world!

This month was Las Vegas!

The box is $45 a month. One of the subscribers will win a trip to the destination of the box’s current themed location! So, Good Luck! Use YOURESCAPE to get 20% off the box subscription price FOR LIFE!

It came in this nice blue and white box

IMG_1352

LAS VEGAS

IMG_1353

They send you a pamphlet with facts about vegas and also a list of all the items in the box

 IMG_1354

Unveiled

IMG_1355

The first item I pulled out was this Las Vegas shot glass. The pamphlet has a price of $3.95. I’m not a shots kinda girl so I will be passing this off to someone else.

IMG_1357

Moon Nevada Travel Guide $20 I hate getting the travel guides in these boxes but thankfully we can now have an option of getting the mini box with all the same items as the regular box with no travel guide and a smaller price! You can try to find it on eBay.

IMG_1360

3 Girls Holistic Calming Mist Body Spray $12  This is a body mist with all natural ingredients with a holistic method approach, instead of using drugs. I was actually really excited to get this product because I recently heard my sister talking about it and saying how much she wanted it. She was a Junior in high school now becoming a senior and had a stressful year. I guess this will still come in handy when she is sending in her college apps and hearing back from colleges.

 IMG_1358

Iadora Charcoal Salt Body Scrub $15 This is a Detox scrub made with all natural ingredients. You use this stuff in the shower and it has a very strong beautiful smell of lavender and the texture is amazing. Its a salt scrub but it has a more silky touch to it. It reminds me of caviar in a sense.

IMG_1359

Las Vegas Nail Filer $1.25 This was just a “bonus” to the box.

IMG_1361

Authentic Clipped Casino Playing Cards $2.99 Mine was used at Planet Hollywood Resort & Casino. I can’t decide if this is weird or pretty cool. I’m gonna go with weird because why do i want used cards?

 IMG_1362

Tahoe Toffee $15 I love that the toffee is shaped like Nevada and I love toffee but I’m pretty sure its not worth $15.

IMG_1356

Vegas Wine Stopper $6.50

IMG_1363

I’m pretty disappointed with this box I think I will be canceling my subscription or getting the mini box. This box was a huge miss for me! The next box will be India.  What did you think of this box? Will you be signing up for the next box?

Escape Monthly Subscription Box Review & Coupon – May 2014

Escape Monthly is a subscription box that sends you luxury travel products from all over the world!

This month was CALIFORNIA!

The box is usually $45 a month, but because I had a Living Social deal it only came out to $29!  Also one of the subscribers will win a trip to the destination of the box’s current themed location! So, Good Luck!  Use YOURESCAPE to get 20% off the box subscription price FOR LIFE!

The box arrived in this beautiful blue colored box

First look into the opened box!

image 11

CALIFORNIA!

image 6

Inside the booklet they give you a few little facts about California

image 9

Also inside the booklet is a list of all the items in the box this month with a summary and retail prices.image 16

Moon California Travel Guide  $21.99  but you can get it on amazon for $15.82  This was actually the most expensive item in the box and I’m not a fan of that. I was just in San Fran last summer so I don’t know when and if  I would use this any time soon.

image 10

Juice Beauty Age Defy Hand Cream $12 It gets five stars on their website and even though it is in green apple it smells pretty lemon-y.  It is also made with certified organic ingredients!

image

Hugo Naturals Vanilla & Sweet Orange Soap $3.99  Literally smells like a creamsicle! YUMM! It is Handcrafted in USA with all natural essential oils. No animal testing, gluten and soy free, vegan, no artificial colors or synthetic fragrances. Thanks to subscription boxes I have all the hand soaps in the world!

image 5

Caliwater Cactus Water $3.50 I’ve actually never tried cactus water so I’m really excited to try it out! It is supposed to be really great for hydrating with vital nutrients. Only 32 calories, no added sugar, gluten free and low glycemic. I’m saving this for one intense work out day!

image 3

Nicobella Organics 2 Piece Truffle $3.95  It came in this little brown box, These truffles are vegan, organic, natural, fair trade, dairy free, and soy free.I was so excited to see this because my sister is allergic to everything and i thought she could have this, but unfortunately the truffles include sunflower oil, which she can not have. I have received the Blueberry and the Walnut truffle, they are absolutely decadent. I prefer the blueberry one over the walnut. I think $4 is pretty pricey for just two truffles though, so I am glad I got to experience it here because I wouldn’t have found these or payed for these truffles anywhere else.

  image 13

IPS All Natural Egg White Chips $1.99 I received the Egg White Chips in Aged White Cheddar. These chips are all natural, 7g of protein, gluten free, 0g trans fat, non-gmo corn, no artificial flavors, colors, or preservatives. They are actually pretty good, they remind me of the puffed popcorn, which is what I think they were going for.

image 14

San Franola in Cinnamon Almond $1.99 Granola in cinnamon alomond with high fiber and10g protein. They say that it is an all day snack but I prefer to have mine with milk. I keep getting granola in all of my boxes lately and I wish it would end. Every time I pull another bag of granola out of a subscription box all I can hear is Cher from Clueless.

image 2

Premium Sea Sponge $7.99 The sponge in the box came unbranded so the link is to a similar sea sponge. These sponges are great for exfoliating. Unfortunately, I just bought one of these the other day so I’m going to give it to a friend.

image 15

BONUS! California Poppy Kit  $6.99 Inside the can is a bunch of tiny seeds and a information card telling you when to plant the poppies and how to take care of your poppies. I am so excited to plant these with my mom this week!
