I’m obsessed with this tie dye bag. I wish it were a sweatshirt, that I could wrap myself in it.
Mascara is one of those things that I never get excited about, in these boxes. I’m so close-minded when it comes to trying new mascara because I love my mascara but I have been surprised before with mascara. I have even changed my favorite mascara a few times now. This mascara does give me a beautiful length to my lashes but they don’t deliver enough volume. So I will continue to love my current mascara.
UGH. Honestly how many times are they going to send this lipstick out. I seriously don’t need this in every color. I’m so over getting the same products in different colors. I’m bored. Plus, this color is ridiculous.
Washing my hair with this shampoo and conditioner was such a luxurious experience. At first I wasn’t even sure if it were shampoo and conditioner and if it were an extra step to it, but it is shampoo and conditioner. I love how this shampoo lathered in my hair and the scent of it while it was lathering. I rarely ever love a shampoo and conditioner the first time I use it but this experience was wonderful. It made my hair feels so clean and nourished and when I blow dried my hair, the results were beautiful. My hair was so sleek and shiny and just looked gorgeous. I am such a fan!
Another product that I have received multiple times just in a different color. I wish they would stop filling up space in this monthly box with products we have tried already. There are so many more products in Sephora that I would rather try. This color is described as a taupe but it more looks like a shimmer purple.
This balm is a one-step balm that perfects the appearance of skin while protecting it from the sun. This is the perfect product for the summer or vacation when you’re in the sun when you want to wear a little makeup but not completely melt in the sun. Especially if you have a flaw that you want to cover but not be caked under layers of makeup. The only downside is that this product definitely smells like sunscreen.
I thought this was a leave in conditioner. I wish it were, but its a volumizer and texturizer spray. I definitely could use the volumizer but I hate the way the texturizer makes my hair feel and it worries me that using this as a volumizer it will make my hair feel waxed over as well. I applied it to half my hair and I’m happy to say that it does not leave a wax residue. It leaves behind a beautiful light citrus fresh scent. The only problem is that I definitely did not see much of a lift to my hair compared to the other side of my hair.
I really enjoyed discovering some new products this month! What did you think of this months Play! box?
