This month’s bag!

IGK Misstress Hydrating Hair Balm $29

The word balm really threw me off for a moment. I was quite concerened about using this product at all. I read the back of the bottle and it said it was a leave in conditioner balm and that kind of made me feel better but then I put it in my hand, and it started to melt and feel oily which off put me again. I worked it through my hair anyway and the first thing I noticed was the scent. It was amazing, it reminded me of Malibu Barbie! I felt like nobody could have better smelling hair than me in that moment and then when I blow dried my hair, I knew nobody could have better looking  AND smelling hair. I love this balm! With only one product I have accomplished better looking, feeling, and smelling hair and I couldn’t be happier!

Marc Jacobs Velvet Noir Major Volume Mascara $26

Marc Jacobs beauty has really been having a moment. I’ve tried their eyeliner, lip liner, and lip gloss, and nothing has failed me. Their quality has truly been top notch and I have no reason to believe that this mascara won’t deliver the same quality. Its not the worst mascara I have ever tired but its not my favorite either. It feels very clumpy and heavy and I feel like I can see it which is quite annoying.

Perricone MD H2 Elemental Energy Hydrating Cloud Cream $80

I have heard about this brand before but I don’t think I have ever tried any of their products before. This price point is extremely high so of course I’m expecting to find a solution for all my skincare problems right in this tiny cream. I applied this cream to a clean dry face and I really like how lightweight this cream was and how it was unscented. This cream promised to help will dull skin and I didn’t notice much of a difference. I can’t see myself recommending this cream at this price to only help with dullness and then do a half assed job.

Origins Clear Improvements Charcoal Mask $27

I have tried this mask only once before and I remember having such a good experience with it. I applied this mask to a clean dry face and left it on until it was dry. One thing that I didn’t remember was how thin and watery this mask was. I had to apply like three layers to one area and it was still so thin that I could still see my skin. I prefer when I am wearing a charcoal mask not to see any skin at all and have a thick layer, so I know for sure it is working. I’m not really feeling much of a tingle but the mask is drying really fast. I did not see any change in my skin and honestly this mask was a waste of time.

Sephora Collection Ultra Shine Lip Gel in Perfect Nude $12

I’m pretty sure I have tried this lip gel in a different color before. This color must be beautiful because it is SOLD OUT online! This lip gel is supposed to bring out your natural lip color and visually lip your lips with a light reflecting formula. I really like the color of this lip gel and how it shines but I didn’t notice any plumpness.

Burberry My Burberry Blush Perfume $120

First off, I love the packaging of this fragrance. It is so girly, sophisticated, and elegant. I simply want to own it just because the packaging is so beautiful. After I sprayed the perfume I realized how perfect the bottle suits the perfume. Its perfectly girly and delightful. I love this scent and I believe it can be worn all year long. I seriously don’t feel like this scent is too heavy or too light, its actually perfect in every way.

This months box was pretty mixed for me but, I am always happy to try new products. What did you think of this months Play! box?
