Cuisine Cube Subscription Box – Gluten Free – Review – July 2014

Cuisine Cube is a new subscription box that is artisan gluten free foods. All food items are FULL SIZE! This box is $34.99 a month. I bought this box for my sister because she is literally allergic to everything. I liked the fact that this box included only full size items.

Pink Lemonade Donut Mix $7.99  * Baking * I was so excited to see this because I have never seen anything like this. I thought this was such a unique gluten free item to include in this box! I’m unsure of the flavor though. It seems like a weird flavor to incorporate in donuts. No gluten, no GMOs, No soy, No dairy, No nuts, No refined sugar! I’m so excited to make these! Maybe I will make a post of making these and how they taste!

Grandpas Gourmet Citrus Herb Chicken Encrusting $5 * Dinner * I’m so excited to try this. Its just 4 very easy steps. It is Gluten Free, Dairy Free, Soy Free, and MSG Free. Everybody raves about the amazing smell when the chicken is baking and how moist the chicken was once baked! My mouth is watering!

Lentilicious Lentils in Mediterranean $6.95 * Lunch/Dinner * All you have to do is add these lentils to boiling water! In just 20 mins you will have nutrisious and delicious lentils! These are Gluten Free, Vegan, Kosher, Low GI, GMO Free, 97% Fat Free, High Protein, and High in Fiber. There are so many ways to use these, you can use them in soups, salads, dips, and even plain! I can not wait to make these! Made in USA, Originated in Byron Bay, Australia.

Little Lad’s Lemon Herbal Popcorn $2.25  * Snack * Gluten free, no dairy, NON GMO popcorn, and organic ingredients. At first I thought that lemon popcorn would be a gross mix, but it is so delicious. I have not been able to put this down! Its such a burst of flavor of sweet and sour. Hand Popped in Maine.

Stroopies Lancaster Dutch Stroopwafels $2.50  * Desert * A two pack of these wonderful gluten free stroopwafels! I love these they are great to enjoy while drinking a cup of tea. Its best to let the wafel sit on top of the hot tea cup and get soft and and warm! From Lancaster, PA.

Freedom Cocoa Crunch Cereal $6.64 * Breakfast * This cereal is free from gluten, wheat, nuts, soy, lactose, dairy, and egg. Also natural colors and flavors and no GMO ingredients and a good source of fiber. There isn’t much of a taste with this cereal. I would probably add some sugar to this because there is really no flavor to this cereal at all, which is quite unfortunate.

This Cuisine Cube is $35 and I have received $31.33. So I haven’t even hit the price that I have spent on this box. Also I bought this box for my sister who is gluten free and she still can not have these items because all of the gluten free items in this box are made with almond flour or rice flour, which she is also allergic too! She is so difficult!  I did enjoy the curation and discovering new and healthy gluten free food products and I still will enjoy creating dinner and eating the delicious food. But I don’t think I will be buying this box again without another coupon! What did you think of this months box?
